What to gate, what to leave public, and why the split matters

Notebook with a simple checklist on a wooden table

If everything is free, paid members have nothing to join. If everything is gated, search and sharing have nothing to carry. The split has to be visible from the first visit.

Leave the thesis public. Gate the working notes, templates, and the pieces a member would reuse. People share the public argument. They pay for the part they would otherwise have to rebuild.

Airlancer memberships can sit on a post without a separate paywall product. That only helps if the public side of the site still looks complete to a first-time reader.
